Mickey Font Cartridge and Locker Talk

Ok...so I must be on a reduse, reuse, and recycle kick this week!  My husband and I love cashews, nuts, etc., and I buy them frequently.  When I went to throw away the can I realized that I could use it to store glue sticks.  It is the perfect size!

Materials used:
Mickey Font Cartridge (font cut at 1 1/2 inches)
Locker Talk Cartridge (glue bottle cut at 3 1/2 inches)
DCWV Grade School paper pack
ribbon
black gel pen
Diamond Stickles
blue, white, yellow, red, and black cardstock
ATG gun
2 way glue pen

  1. I love all of your reduce, reuse, recycle ideas on here! I'm a library media specialist at the elementary level so I love to see what other teachers are doing with their Cricut. Cute stuff!

  3. Great idea! Just one thought..even if you wash the container there could be contamination on the glue sticks from the nuts that were stored in there and a child with a nut allergy might have a reaction.

  4. You are correct-but if you wash the container using a little bleach it should be fine. I always have my students wash their hands with soap and water after every project-we don't want any glue on their face or in their mouths! :)

  5. I am not a teacher; however, I love looking at all your neat stuff. I am going to tell several people I know who are teachers, or studying to be teachers about your site. You are one creative gal!
