We met Wendy Vecchi with Ranger Inks....Studio 490 Style!!

On October 16th, my girlfriend Carol and I went to a wonderful stamping store called The Queen's Ink.  It is an incredible hideaway located in Savage, Maryland.  If you are ever in Maryland,  you will want to check out this creatively filled world of art that will consume not only your bank account but fill your head with incredible, colorful ideas!  When you enter The Queen's Ink-you want one of everything!  They take stamping to a whole new level that I could not even imagine.  Carol and I took two classes with the wonderful Wendy Vecchi.  She works for Ranger Inks and collaborates head to head with the one and only....Tim Holtz!  Wendy taught us how to utilize the blending tool, mini mister tool, and work with Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls, and several other new products.  I was even able to create a tag using the inks to illuminate a watercolor masterpiece!  This was the most fun I have had in a while.  The techniques we learned were in the same format that was used at Ranger U.  To top it all off,  we left with complete instructions on how each technique was done for future use.  This was certainly a few of the best classes I had ever taken.

I think I was so nervous standing right next to her (notice me biting my lip LOL)  Here are just a few of her masterpieces she has designed using the inks, grunge board, and grunge paper.

......and to end a fun filled day on a great note....we found the new Hobby Lobby located in Laurel, Maryland!!!!!!!!!!!!....we were so broke by the time we stepped out of the car LOL!!!
