My Pink Stamper Design Team 2011 Challenge

Well I knew after reading Robyn's blog at http://mypinkstamper.com it was going to be a fantastic start to 2011!!  She has put out a challenge in search of two new design team members.  Robyn is asking crafters to create a project using her three favorite colors: pink, green, and brown.  We are also able to add 1 optional color choice as well.  If any of you follow my blog-you will know that I love to find ways to recycle items and create them into some type of artistic masterpiece or useable item in the classroom !   I really wanted to create something totally out of the box or should I say jar?  Here is my project (Let me know your thoughts!!)

Here is a list of  the materials that were used to complete this project:
"Cricut Cruise Fund" jar

My Pink Stamper "Buggy Punnies" stamp set
Close to My Heart "Topiary" ink pad
DCWV paper pack (All Occasions stack)
Ribbon
2-way glue pen
Mono Adhesive
I-Rock tool
I-Rock gems
2 Basic Grey Brads (lime green)
Car Decals Cartridge with the JT Cartridge used with the Imagine (Cricut image was cut at 3.5 inches-for the top of the jar)
Potpourri Basket cartridge used with the Expression (Cricut image for the ship was cut at 1 inch, the ship was cut at 2 1/2 inches, and the suitcase was cut at 1 1/2 inches)
1 sterilized Jiffy Peanut Butter jar (I save these throughout the year to use during Christmas and Valentine's Day and stuff them with goodies) **Make sure whomever receives this gift is not allergic to peanuts.  You could also use a coffee can or any other type of canister :)
My hope and dream is that I can save up enough money to go on the Cricut Cruise one day.  Creating this jar will help give me a jump start toward saving up the cash in hopes to someday attend!!  **You could also create a jar for "Cricut Cash" or "Cartridge Cash", etc.  The possibilities are endless!!

  1. What a creative idea! I could so use one of these jars to help save up for my new papercrafting/cricut obsession! I love the way you coordinated the colors and as always you always amaze me with the ways you think of to re-use items! Another great project Wendy! Good Luck!
