Happy Birthday Elmo gift bag and album!

I love how this gift bag turned out!!!  I purchased a large white celebration bag from Michaels for $1.49 and used the Storybook cartridge for the fit to page scallop and the Sesame Street Friends cartridge to create the one and only Elmo and his friends Big Bird and Cookie Monster.  A co-worker of mine is having a birthday party for her daughter and the theme for the party is...well you know who they are....all of the characters from Sesame Street.

I decided to make her an album using The Cinch  binding tool.  I purchased The Cinch last June at the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention and this was the very first time I used it.  I love this!!!  I am going to make more albums and projects with this tool.  It is a must have for all scrapbookers and paper crafters ;)
I cut the characters out at 5 inches and used the Storybook cartridge to cut out the frames at 5 and 4 1/2 inches.

For the page on the left I used my Imagine and the Better Together Cartridge to create the "Hey Cupcake" image.

I love this image of Elmo!!  He was the easiest character to layer.  I think I am going to dig out those baby pictures from my oldest son's 1st birthday party and scrapbook them with Elmo!  He loved Elmo before Steve and Joe came along from Blue's Clue's.  I really wish Provo Craft would come out with more Nickelodeon characters.
Stay tuned this weekend for a Peachy Keen stamp give away!!!

  1. This is so cute. I just got a Bind-It-All and have been having lots of fun with it. What is the size of this book? Well I saw so many cute ideas on your site (love the smartie pants) and I agree I want more Nick carts too. I have been wanting a Backyardigan cart. or Yo Gabba Gabba cart to come out, but the sesame street character carts are fun especially the font.
