Playing around with Spellbinders dies and the Cuttlebug!

Happy Sunday everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a fab Memorial weekend-spending it with friends and family!!  Last night the girls got together and scrapped in the dungeon.  We were all tired but still had a good time and a laugh or two!  I think I froze them out of the house-our upstairs air conditioning unit has decided to not work again this May (3rd season in a row)  and we cranked up the downstairs unit in hopes to keep the entire house cool.  By doing this-we actually made the dungeon (my basement) an igloo LOL.  Runny noses and cold fingers were had but we still managed to complete a few things.
I have this new found love and interest in the Spellbinders die cuts when it comes to card making.  BUT....I refuse to purchase another die cutting/embossing machine and besides I truly, truly love my CUTTLEBUG!!!  I didn't realize that the C plate did not come with my Cuttlebug so I had to purchase it and boy was it hard to find in the local stores.  I actually had to order it from HSN-anyway I have it and am able to cut the Spellbinders dies and I truly think it is the best thing since sliced bread.....well not really, my Cricut machines are the best thing since sliced bread but this comes close LOL.
I made this card for a teacher friend of mine who loves cats and all animals really!!!  She is one of my closest pals and I wanted to make her a card to send her off as we come close to summer vacation.  Here are the materials I used for the project:

Materials:
Coordinations cardstock-love this paper pack!
white cardstock
Recollections stamp set
My Pink Stamper stamp set (for the sentiment inside of the card-it was purrrrfect LOL)
Momento black ink pad
Momento markers-my new found love
Spellbinders square and lacy square die cuts
CTMH bubblegum stamp pad (used to blend the pink ink onto the square die cut)
blending tool
green ribbon
ATG gun

This turned out super cute-I think I will head down to the dungeon to create some more cards.  I am always running out of them and I like to have a stash on hand just in case I need one!!  Have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Crafting!!
