Create a Critter bookmarkers for students!!!

I wanted to make something for my students to take with them on spring break (which is right around the corner!)  My hope is that they continue to read over the break (keeping my teacher fingers crossed ;)-)  I came up with this idea to create small bookmarks for students.  I grabbed my old favorite cartridge "Create a Critter" and also the "Graphically Speaking" cartridge to cut out the images and the arrows.  I hot glued a jumbo paper clip to the back so students could clip the bookmark into their book for easy use.  The images were cut at 2 1/2 inches and the arrows were cut at 3 inches.  I also used Peachy Keen stamp sets to help add a little character to those critters!!  White and black gel pens were used for the stitching and I popped them up using pop-dots to give them some dimension.  I think my kiddos will really enjoy them while they continue to read over the break (still keeping those fingers crossed LOL!)  Well, a teacher should always try!!!! ;)
