The music teacher at the school where I work asked me to create a card for the parent volunteer who helped with the 5th grade performance. The only idea she gave me was to use music notes so I thought the Quarter Note cartridge was the perfect fit. I used a piece of 12 by 24 cardstock and folded it in half using a bone folder to create the 12 by 12 card. I cut the piano image at 6 inches, the music notes at 2 1/2, the rose at 4 inches and the words at 4 inches as well. I thought the card needed something so I punched the edge of the white cardstock on the front using a Martha Stewart punch ( I think it gave it just enough to make it stand out without over doing it) All of the students who participated in the performance will sign it and give it to the parent volunteer this week. I hope she likes it!! We don't know what we would do without our volunteers-they keep everything going!!!! Have a great week everyone.
