Jinger Adams Design Team Entry!!!!!

I am so super excited about Jinger Adams having a Design Team Call!!!!!  I thought I would make something fun, whimsical, and delicate (which describe me to a "T"-at least I think so LOL) for my project!!!
I used everything in my craft room except for my Cricut :0!!!!  I made this Easter card using DCWV spring paper pack, Sew Easy from Memory Makers to add the stitching, Basic Grey button brads, buttons, McGill punch for label, Martha Stewart punch for the edging, scallop punch, 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 circle punches, Prima Flowers, My Creative Time "Color Me Happy" and "Happy Hunting" stamps, Close to My Heart "Watermelon" ink pad, ribbon, and Copic Markers to add some color to the bunny stamp! The finished card is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!!!  Wish me luck!! ;)

More Spring/Easter baskets!!!!!

I loved how this set of baskets turned out!!!  The Create a Critter cartridge is one of my favorite carts to use!!  I will be giving these baskets to co-workers on Friday right before we leave for Spring break.  I used the Easter 2010 cartridge to cut out these sweet baskets (fit to page)  I purchased some Easter grass at Michaels and added the goodies!!!  This is one of my favorite times of the year!!!  Hope everyone is having a blessed week!!!! ;)

Fun Easter Baskets

I used the Easter 2010 cartridge to create these baskets-I cut them "fit to page" and I think they turned out super cute.  I also used the Create a Critter cartridge to create all of the animal images to give the baskets a little touch of Spring.  It's hard to believe that Spring is here and Easter is just right around the corner.  Oh well, back to the dungeon to create some more Easter baskets.  Have a wonderful week everyone!!

"BLOW" the top off the test!!!!!! -testing treats for students

The State of Maryland will be testing students tomorrow and Wednesday for Math.  Every year I try to come up with something different for students to enjoy.  This year instead of using Blow Pops I found these Blow Pop minis at the local grocery store.  It is just like having the Pop but without the stick! LOL ;)  I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge for the top hat and cut them at 5 inches using the icon shadow feature.  These took no time at all to cut out-I printed the slogan on the computer and used label paper.  I trimmed them and just peeled the backs off before adding them to the hats.  This really saved me on using my adhesive (which I think I hoard more than paper).  I wish all of my students the best of luck-I know they will rock it!!!!  Hope you are having a great week.  ;)

Spring fever has hit!!!!!!!

This is a project from a previous post.  I wanted to share it with you because I am going to re-introduce it to my students.  I think Spring fever has hit and I need to add to my rewards in hopes that it will encourage positive behavior.  Our state will be testing for Math this week so I am hoping that these little rewards will help give some encouragement and positive reinforcement!!

I placed tags inside of the box -written on the tags are rewards such as:
*extra outdoor recess
*extra indoor recess
*sit with a friend
*game time with a partner
*ice cream party
*free homework pass for the class

I found this little black and red tin box at Joann Fabrics in the dollar section. The tin box was $2.50-not a bad price!
When the class has met the goal you can choose a student to reach into the mystery box and pull out a card. I have found that setting certain goals and expectations whether it be behavior or academic achievements, my students are eager and excited to meet the goal. They love to win something extra!
Materials used for project:
Mickey Font cartridge-for lettering and question marks (letters were welded using the gypsy)
Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge-for the tags -cut at 4 inches
Hot glue gun
DCWV paper pack
red, black, and yellow cardstock
Creative Memories mini punch
ribbon

Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge

Every year right before the State testing begins, I usually make these goodies for my students to help cheer them on!!!  I cheated this year LOL ;0  I printed out the greeting on the computer using label paper in lieu of writing them on the pants.  This was much easier and a lot neater as well!!!  I don't know why I didn't think of this before.  We have worked so hard this year and I am sure my kiddos will do great!  I cut the overalls using the blackout feature and cut them at 7 inches.  I was able to get 8 pants from a 12 by 12 sheet of paper.  Super easy, super quick, and super cute!!!  (my motto)  The one thing that I love about all of my Cricut machines is that they save me a lot of time and I honestly do not think that I could do all of the things in my classroom without them.  Have a super great week everyone and wish us luck on the testing!!! ;)

Simply Charmed :)

I love this chick!!!!  I cut him at 3 inches and used the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge to create the basket (fit to page)  The tag and stamp are from My Creative Time's Tiny Tag and stamp set.  I am still making these for my students as a treat before they go off for Spring break.  I can't believe it is almost here!  The Maryland State assessments are going to take place over the next two weeks.  I have a little something for my kiddos who have worked so hard for this test.  I will share the project with you soon!  Hope everyone is feeling creative this week.  ;)

Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art cartridge

This is a cute and fun cartridge to use-not only for the Cricut Cake but also with your Expression or E2 machines.  I really liked the silhouette for this bunny image.  I cut it at 4 inches, used the swiss dots cuttlebug folder and applied pop dots to adhere it to the card.  I also used My Creative Time's curly tag die cut, My Creative time "You Had me at Chocolate" stamp set, and a Martha Stewart punch.  Super easy, super simple but and to make.  I think I am going to look further into this cartridge to create some more Easter projects.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!! ;)

Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge

I truly love this cartridge "Simply Charmed"-all of the images are super cute.  I wanted to make something for my students before they leave for spring break.  So I cute out this box from the original Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cartridge (fit to page) and cut the bunny out at 4 inches-inked the edges to add some dimension.  The tag and stamp are from My Creative Time-Tiny Tags set.  I think I am going to fill it with pencils, candy, erasers, and other spring goodies.  So it looks like I have another 22 to make...........if I start now I might finish by the end of the month.  Have a super week!!!!
