Have a cool summer send off!!!

I made this for my students last year because I was looking for an inexpensive way to send my students off for the summer (besides creating a summer practice book LOL!!)  I thought sending them off with a bottle of water would be a great way for them to cool off!
I purchased a case of 24 water bottles which cost me $3.99 and then I decorated the bottle-super cheap, super fast, and a great gift for all students!  You could add a pack of Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, or Propel but I highly recommend making sure your students do not have any allergies to color dyes.  I used my Gypsy to weld the letters together -if you don't have a Gypsy or you don't have a lot of time to spare, try printing your logo or saying on large mailing address labels.  You can just peel and stick!  I also used a really good ribbon so if you are looking to go very inexpensive you can purchase some wrapping paper ribbon at the dollar store.  You could always make a few of these for students and pass them out for field day.

Here are the materials that I used for this project:

Materials:
Create a Critter cartridge-for the sun (cut at 2 inches)
Cricut Classic Font-used for the words and welded on the Gypsy
Peachy Keen stamp set "Snow Cutie Face" Assortment
Memento black ink pad
Copic Markers
White gel pen
pop dots
ATG gun and adhesive

Another dino card!!

I am truly having some fun with the Dinosaur Tracks cartridge this week.  Here is another card I made using this cart-I cut the dino out at 2 1/2 inches, used a cuttlebug folder to add texture and it was simply done!  The Dino-Mite stamp is from My Pink Stamper and I also used an EK Success punch.  I love making super east and fast cards!!!  It makes me feel like I have finished something LOL ;)  have a super week everyone!!

Dinosaur Tracks cartridge

I was asked to make two thank you cards for teachers who had helped with the 2nd grade performance which had to do with......dinosaurs!!  This cartridge was the perfect fit :)  Dinosaur Tracks has quite a variety to choose from.  I used the seeing spots cuttlebug folder and a MPS stamp to give it a little texture and appeal.  I cut the dino at 3 1/2 inches and he was super easy to layer.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.  Stay tuned later in the week for a super cute "going away for the summer" student gift!!!  Happy crafting.

Baby shower favors

Spring time brings lots and lots of baby showers!!!!  I had fun making 30 shower favors using the Stork's Delivery Cricut cartridge.  I cut the onsie at 2 1/2 inches and used the stamp "sweet baby" from a MPS stamp set. The paper used was from the DCWV Baby Girl paper pack.  The goodies inside are the Hershey chocolate and toffee nuggets.  I really enjoy making baby shower favors, wedding shower favors, and well.....lets just say everything shower!!!!
Happy Mother's Day to all of those hard working mothers!

Later this week I will be working on some gifts for my students as I prepare to say farewell to them for the summer.  Every year it is bittersweet-they grow up so fast!!
