Halloween Goodies!

These are some fun goodie bags that I made last year for my students last year.  I am gearing up to make this years students something special as well.  I really love the Create a Critter 2 cartridge!  I just purchased Monster Bash and have been enjoying this cartridge.  I look forward to posting some super spooky projects!  I have been missing in action over the last month or so.  This school year has brought forth many challenges and new stress levels with implementing the Common Core.  Not to mention that the beginning of the school year is just plain stressful in itself!  I am hoping to get back into the grove of stamping, paper crafting, scrapbooking, and most of all  CREATING!  I was in a creative rut or I guess you could call it a "brain freeze" and couldn't find my mojo.  I just didn't have the desire to want to create anything lately but I managed to make my way down to the craft dungeon and started to pull out some of my Halloween stamps, cricut cartridges, and other supplies.  It seemed to bring back the spark!   I am working on a few projects and hope to post those soon.  I hope you all have a blessed week -love your family, love your friends, and enjoy life!.....stress free LOL

  2. HI Wendy,
I am on the same page with the added stress the mandates of RTTP and Common Core placed on us teachers this year. My poor 6th graders were so stressed out at the beginning of the month because they had to take a pre- assessment in every class they take (including Art, PE, Music). I made all 114 of them a little pick me treat bag with a nice pencil, Smarties and your stamp on an apple cut out "You're Just Write". They loved it and it made their day. It made my day also! Hang in there; this too shall pass! I love your stamp set; I hope you have another set in the works sometime in the future.
